Basically saying, "I was upset when I thought it was my house, but since it's not, I'm all good."

Firefighters say high winds fueled flames that destroyed a home in Lackawanna County Tuesday night.

The fire broke out around 9:00 p.m. at the home along O'Neill Drive in Moosic and could be seen for miles. A neighbor was on his way home when he saw the fire from the road.

"When I came around the bend, I just saw a huge ball of flames and at first I thought it was our house, so I panicked. As I got closer, I realized it was the house across the street. When I came into the development, I kind of veered off to the side and the police all came in behind me and the fire trucks and I made it up here safe," recounted neighbor Ed Griglock.

Other neighbors say the family did get out but there's no word if anyone was hurt. Flames also kicked up in the garage. Investigators don't know what sparked the fire.
